The Second Grade Teams of Centennial and Liberty Elementary Schools at their jointly planned “2nd Grade Science Night”.
You are our first line in recruiting participants for the STEM Expo. All U-46 K-12 students are eligible to participate and they can register as individuals or as teams. To register each student or team of students would register via this link (link will be active 10/10/17)
Entries can be original meaning they have developed the question and research method by themselves. Students can also participate with a research project or lab that was conducted during class time. So if you have a student or team of students who did an excellent job on a lab you conducted in class please invite them to participate in the STEM Expo! Participants will get a tri-fold board and a T-shirt.
PLEASE REMIND STUDENTS and PARENTS…..the U-46 STEM Expo is NOT a contest. The purpose of the expo is to model one of the most important steps of the Scientific Method…”peer review” and “publishing”. So while it is true we will have people “judging” the projects it is not to rank projects but to provide feedback and to have students defend their research.
